  9. Hi and Thanks for your photo. I am printing it to put on my wall. I have M.S., but I after 11 years, I am getting better. With Gds help, I am hoping to walk across the bridge in April of 2009 and will use the photo as a vision for my future. I was in a wheelchair periodically before February 2008 and just walking from one room to the next was a painful burden. I won’t say more about what I am doing to recover now, unless I am recovered.

  11. I just finished David McCullough’s book regarding building of the Brooklyn/New York City Bridge. A wonderful book, long but an easy read. I have never seen this bridge in person.

    • Hi Rashuan,

Thanks, I’m glad that has worked out all right. I also requested a copy of the finished book, and if you or your publisher can manage to send me a copy, that would be great.

      Best wishes,

      Howard

  16. This is a beautiful photo. I am doing my undergraduate senior art show, basing it on contemporary sneakers. I would like permission to use this photo in the background of one of my art pieces. Let me know if that’s a possibility.

  17. I love this image also. My daughter is getting married in Brooklyn Fall 2010. She wants to give tote bags to her guests. Could we use this image.

    Thanks, Susan
