Another outing on eBay and this time I have found an Ensign Ful-Vue II to accompany my Selfix 420. This box camera was very popular in Britain in the post-war period, due in part no doubt to its interesting styling. The film chamber has a remarkably fresh-looking sticker exhorting the photographer to use ‘Ensign size 20 film’.
The final encore at last week’s Barbican concert – hosted by Seasick Steve and featuring The Wiyos, CW Stoneking, Diana Jones, Cedric Watson & Bijoux Creole, Allison Williams & Chance McCoy, most of whom were on stage here.This handheld cameraphone picture doesn’t do justice to the occasion, but this review at The Observer does.
