Rousham statue

Filed under: Gimp, photography, Picasa, Rousham, Rousham Park House, statue — Howard @ 12:00 am

Rousham Park has some fine old statues, and I used this subject to try out the new version of the Gimp (2.4). Chiefly this is the radial blur tool (similar to that in the previous version) followed by tweaks of brightness and contrast, with further tweaks in Picasa before uploading. The Gimp has a lot of power but it’s not intuitive to use and really I’m barely scratching the surface.
