Cool cool water | A smaller splash

Cool cool water | 1/125 - 1/160 s | f/5 - f/6.2 | ISO 100 | 75 mm

It was a hot Sunday in Oxford the day I took this photo – some kids were jumping off a bridge into the Cherwell in the University Parks.

This picture is a composite of three images taken in quick succession, so as well as the boy in mid-air there is the splash he is going to make in a fraction of a second.

This is also part of my initial evaluation of the Minolta AF 75-300 F4.5-5.6 II lens I picked up recently in Oxfam.
