Through the Viewfinder 2

Ful-Vue TtV detail

I don’t yet have a ‘contraption’ for TtV work, so this was an attempt, hunching over the camera on the floor, to keep as many reflections out as possible. The picture is taken on an A100 with a 50mm f/1.7 prime and +2 dioptre close up filter. There was very little light so the exposure, on a tripod, was 1.3 s at f/2.8 for ISO 100. Initial post-processing in PSE7 (ACR, straightening, cropping, borders) was finished off in Picnik (drop shadow).

Ensign Ful-Vue TtV f/8

A picture from the same session taken at f/8 (5 s exposure) has greater depth of field.
